White Post Farm at Farnsfield has always been a big hit with families in the area, and staff are thrilled to finally reopen their doors after three long months.
With lockdown once again spanning lambing season, the farm have welcomed a large number of babies to the fold who will get their first chance to meet the public when they reopen on April 12.
Alongside lambs, there are also baby goats, calves, guinea pigs and chicks which will also be looking forward to meeting excited visitors.
Anthony Moore, marketing manager explains: “It’s been a hive of activity while we’ve been closed and although we’ve kept in touch with our followers with as many live videos as possible, there’s nothing better than our gates being open and us being able to welcome visitors back to the farm.
"This is the second lambing season which visitors will have missed out on, and we have lots of other new animals for people to see too – we're all so excited!”
Visitors can book tickets now, and people are asked to select a check-in time to help with social distancing and avoiding large queues.
All outdoor spaces will be open but indoor areas still remain closed at this stage of the roadmap.
The farm park successfully introduced a one-way system previously, alongside additional sanitising stations, and a reduced capacity ensures social distancing can be maintained.
