1. People lived in Mansfield Rock Houses will 1900
This picture of the rock houses at the top of Ratcliffe Gate was taken in 1971. The last person to live here was John Bramwell, who died in 1900 age 85. He was a framework knitter in the lace industry. Photo: JPIMEDIA
2. Unfinished memorial
Bentinck Memorial on Mansfield Market Place was erected in 1849 is actually incomplete. A statue should have gone into the empty space on top, but that never happened as money ran out. Photo: Anne Shelley
3. Parliament Oak
