Derby County defender Kieron Freeman joins Notts County on loan
Freeman had previously enjoyed an impressive spell at Meadow Lane in 2011/12, during his time as a Nottingham Forest player, and becomes boss Shaun Derry’s first signing.
The Nottingham-born full-back played 19 games and scored one goal, as the Magpies experienced a tremendous run of form and narrowly missed out on the Play-Offs.

As a result of his consistent displays in the Black and White stripes throughout his previous stint, the 21-year-old’s arrival will no doubt be greatly welcomed ahead of a crucial run of fixtures.
Freeman, who will wear the number 24 jersey, is available for tonight’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy encounter with Oldham Athletic.
