Two sheds on fire in same Alfreton Street

Two sheds were discovered to be on fire in separate incidents in an Alfreton Street overnight, firefighters have revealed.

Crews were called to an address in Beech Avenue shortly after 11am last night (Tuesday 29th July) following reports that a a garden shed and fence were on fire.

Then at 4.46am today crews from Alfreton Fire Station were again called to Beech Avenue following reports of a shed on fire.

Hosereel jets were used in both incidents.

It is not known at this stage whether the fires are being treated as suspicious.
