Last chance to enter Chad Best in Schools award
We are looking for your unsung heroes in your local schools to be nominated for this year’s awards.
We are on the search to find the very best headteachers, teachers, teaching assistants, caretakers and all the other people involved with the day-to-day running of a school.

Hide AdThis year there are no fewer than 13 awards ready to be handed out to deserving people at a glitzy award ceremony at Mansfield Town’s One Call Stadium on June 21.
Nominations must be submitted by midnight, Monday May 30, in order for them to be put before the judges and our finalists will be contacted two weeks prior to the event.
We welcome our readers and local schools, pupils and parents to put forward their nominations for their teacher, headteacher, caretaker, plus other school workers.
The awards celebrate the extraordinary work of people who go the extra mile to make school life special for others.

Hide AdJon Ball, the Chad head of content, said: “The Best in School awards were created to allow our community to see the shining stars of our education establishments, and to hear of the excellent work they do with our young people.
“They are a credit to their colleagues and their students.”
Our headline sponsor for the event is Sutton Community Academy and Academy Transformation Trust Further Education, with Garibaldi College, Rainworth Skoda, Evolve Trust, Mansfield Town FC, Plastek, Tommee Tippee, Teachers UK and Specsavers.
Nominations can only be made online at www.chad.co.uk/bestinschools/ and we ask that people submit 150-400 words per nomination as to why the nominee is deserving of the award.
Shortlisted finalists will be offered two complimentary tickets to attend the event, however tickets will be on general sale for £18 each.
The awards night at the One Call Stadium will be held from 6pm to 9.30pm.
