Fayre gets people into festive spirit
A Christmas fayre has got the community feeling festive with stalls, cakes and even a visit from Santa.
There was fun for all at the annual fayre at the Tin Hat Centre in Chapel Road, Selston, where there was a tombola, stalls, entertainment and a Santa’s grotto.
Paulette Sturman, the centres manager said: “Everyone said it was the best one we have done yet,” and that over £1,000 was raised by the event on Saturday, November 25, to go towards putting on other events at the Tin Hat.
