Events to get involved in this summer around Nottinghamshire
A wide range of activities are taking place in the council’s archives service, libraries and other venues.
On 9th July, Howard Heeley, from Newark Air Museum, will share his experience of ancestral research of RAF personnel with a talk at Nottinghamshire Archives in Castle Meadow Road, Nottingham.
The event is free and will take place from 6.30pm.

Hide AdIt forms part of Nottinghamshire’s People programme taking place this year as part of the Nottinghamshire Ancestral Tourism Partnership.
Another up and coming event later this month is a conference for young people interested in heritage.
It takes place at the Galleries of Justice Museum in High Pavement, Nottingham on July 17 between 10am and 4.30pm.
It aims to bring together young people between 16 and 21-years-old and get them involved in archives, archaeology, arts heritage, libraries, museums, community activities and lots more.
