Kelly grabbed her by the throat, lifted her off the floor and pinned her to the bathroom door – and continued to punch her in the face.
The court was told his victim, with whom he had been in a relationship for a number of years, was left with bruising to her face, neck and chest.
Olivia Haggar, mitigating, said Kelly deserved credit for his early guilty plea and he was of previous good character.

Ms Haggar said a proposed ban on him entering Warsop would be impossible for him to comply with.
