Man arrested after 40 bags of drugs found in Mansfield

Officers attended a house in Cavendish Street after receiving a report of suspicious activity there.

When police searched the property, they found 40 bags of what are believed to be class A drugs as well as an imitation pistol.

Hide AdA 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of an imitation firearm.
A quantity of cash, weighing scales and mobile phones were also recovered from the scene.
The man has been released under investigation in connection with the incident.
