Police have confirmed the death of a 17-year-old girl at Broxtowe Country park.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to Broxtowe Country Park at around 7am this morning following a report of a sudden death.

Inspector Charlotte Allardice said: “Nottinghamshire Police were called to Broxtowe Country Park shortly after 7am today (June 17) following a report of the sudden death of a 17-year-old girl.

“Her death is not being treated as suspicious at this time. Her family has been informed.”
